(i have no clue why 4 pictures showed up....i can't seem to change it either! Weird!!)Last Friday was my 26th birthday and Lars threw me a surprise party. To be sure that i have time to actually get this posted, i am going to be brief except to say that it was wonderful. My not always sneaky husband was a real undercover kind of guy with this one and pulled the whole thing off. He transformed our nasty garage into a party place with tons of pies and hot cider. There were haybales (how do you spell that word) and a bonfire in the backyard as well. My dad and sister babysit Luca, although he of course made and appearance to my party dressed in a little lamb sleeper just in time to steal the show.
Lars and I went out to dinner and on the way home i started talking about how much i would love some hot cider. (strangely i fell right into the plan) We were debating as to whether any orchards would still be open as we pulled into our back drive. Then i saw all the people and the food and decorations and fire. I got out of the car...finally and then started to cry. It is so weird how your hormones change with a baby!!!!!
