proving that the earth is flat!!

There was a time when you couldn't just say that the earth was round without getting into some serious trouble. Where I come from for example people believed that the earth was sort of like a giant pancake; if you travelled far enough you could fall over the edge right into hell. Danes are dramatic people, but also concerned for the wellbeing of their fellow man. " I wouldn't sail that far........it is mighty close to the edge, you know what is out there?!!!! Then along came a guy named Rasmus Montanus, and he said that the earth is round.......I think they killed him or even worse! Poor Rasmus picked the wrong place to make people believe in a round earth. His common sense should have told him.....don't go there with these potato row roaming people. I know the earth is round, but I think that there is a strong case for saying that it is indeed very flat too. Here we are in Yorktown, In........it is flatter than a penny on the train track. When we get on that plane Denmark bound we are not really proving that the earth is round we will just move to the other side of the pancake where it is just as flat.
One day we will do the Columbus thing, though he never really ever proved his point either. He found some people "on the edge" and decided to call them Indians....great!
For those who have decided to leave this blog behind before i get to my point.......farewell!
My point is only to communicate that Denmark is flat and that is where I am from, Flatland! So many people ask me about the mountains and skiing, lovely waterfalls etc. Well, they mistook my country for one of those that have all of the above including ETC.
Long story short..........we are leaving for pancake land next week.........that is awesome!
Glædelig Jul=Merry Christmas
