We had some family from Denmark with us last week and we are for sure missing them around here right now. Lars' younger brother Kristian & his expecting wife Betina were here for a too short visit. Lars became Danish again for the week & we for sure enjoyed the company.
Some Danish quirks:
Nothing goes in the car with you (including the necessary diaper bag) It all goes in the trunk.
It is perfectly normal for the baby to sleep outside
Knife and fork are always necessary even for Mexican finger foods
Pink is not just for girls and sissies. Real men CAN wear pink!
hmmmm i will have to write others down as they come...i am blanking now!
We spent time in Indy, Noblesville, & in Bloomington at Oliver Winery, & in around here garage sale-ing (they began to barter!), betting on horses at the horse track (Lars and I both won!!!), & meeting our friends and my family. They could have stayed another week and we would have been fine with that! (crazy that's true huh?!?!)
