Well...we bought a house! That's pretty big I suppose! Fortunately we bought the house that we have lived in for the past 14 months so we didn't have to move at all. Maybe some of you are questioning us...maybe you are wondering if that means that we will never move overseas...or maybe we will lose of adventurous spirits... God can pick us up and move us whenever he wants. A house really is just a great big possession anyway!
The doorknocker that said *Rhoades* on it is now a nice even silver. And the enormous ugly shrub in the front is not an enormous ugly root poking his red head out for the world. (anyone want to help some desperate people landscape??? we need it!!!) Lars has started painting the trim on the porch a nice blue and i think that my dad is going to finish it next week. (Daddy has the summer off since he is a teacher!!!) We have a brand new dishwasher in our garage just waiting to be installed. I am waiting maybe a little less than patiently...but i am trying!!! A family from our church was moving and now i can't remember the whole story...i only know that they gave us a brand new dishwasher, in the box, with a warranty! AMAZING!!!
