These pictures were taken on Luca's actual birthday, August 27th. So, what does Luca like?
Well, first of all, he is obsessed with balls...or really anything round for that matter. You really wouldn't believe how much in this world is round until you walk through Wal-Mart with Luca. BALL?... well yes Luca that is an apple. BALL?...yes, that is an orange. BALL??...yes that is a light, or a CD or a can of tomato soup!
He wakes up in the middle of the night talking about chasing balls around the house!
He likes to open kitchen cabinets and take things out and put them back in. He also likes to put random objects on top of cars and push them around....his favorite thing to transport are..you guessed it...balls!

Luca doesn't walk yet...and he really doesn't show any interest in it either. He crawls like Smegel from Lord of the Rings! He is pretty efficient with his movements, too. Sometimes he'll put objects in front of the leg that he drags so he can transport them wherever he wants to go. i wish we had a video clip.
