Today is special! Today I had the day off, that is one of those treats that I look forward to, a day off. When I left work on Saturday I hit the OFF switch on all the lights in the furniture store where I work. Bye, bye, farvel, adios, auf wieder sehen etc.
For some time my days off have been rather sporadic and sometimes filled with other work that I was doing, so it was hard to determine when I was actually off.
Today we slept a little bit longer, drank the coffee slower and remained in PJ's just long enough to know that the day OFF was a reality. Don't worry you will never see me at the store shopping in my Pijamas, I am not that relaxed.
We went on a walk and decided to stop by our friend's house and "borrow" some air for Luca's stroller tires, and we off course ran into Chris, who invited us to stay for a few minutes.
Monday morning and we are sitting and talking about life in Yorktown, Denmark, Marion and Mexico. Monday mornings are supposed to be unpleasant reality checks; rain, flat tires, high gas prices and rude highway drivers. Instead we sat on the couch and the comfy chairs and chatted amigo style.
