We had a cozy father's day. I got to celebrate it with my favorite dads--My husband and my dad...the 2 little guys celebrated them, too. We spent a warm, breezy afternoon in the backyard and then headed to Puerto Vallarta where my dad actually branched out from his normal mound of meat on top of tortilla chips (his usual--beef nachos) I told him that they had chicken nachos, too and you would think that I would have told him that there were people living on the moon. He was thrilled to try it. When our meal arrived, the chicken had been sauteed with peppers and onions, too. Oh no! What will he say? Verdict--he loved it--peppers and all.
Earlier in the day, he also had a frozen coke for the first time. You know, the kind from the gas station that swirls round and round? First time trying one of those delicious, frozen, sugar/ caffeine concoctions. YUM YUM YUM
Luca learned to blow bubbles that day too. Normally he would just kind of spit as the bubble liquid dripped on his feet. Its a whole new world now!
