A snipet of sledding

On Sunday Luca was begging me to take them sledding.

Side notes: Luca is three, Silas is 11 months, conveniently Lars was working, there are NO hills in Yorktown.

After I am sure at least 20 minutes of donning the necessary attire we ventured out with baby strapped in the Baby Bjorn carrier on my front. (who could push a stroller in snow? and you know the big guy wasn't going to share the sled)

We hit the slope..or at least the little tiny 2 foot incline in the front yard. Then I proceeded to pull Luca down the sidewalks and into anyone's yard that even resembled a hill and still was covered white. Meanwhile Silas is strapped on my front and I was sporting a brightly colored striped fleece stocking hat with a tassel .....and the tag still on it (I have a bad habit of that)

Needless to say I did not feel that I needed to hop on the treadmill that night after pulling 35 lbs behind me and carrying 25 in the front. Maybe Dad would like to try the sledding next time :)
