We're still here

So it looks like 2 1/2 months have passed since this blog had any activity. So what has been going on...you may wonder!
Well I for one have significantly less time than before. One reason is:Silas is walking! Everywhere, all the time...and climbing, too. While I am talking about Silas let me also say that he LOVES dogs! He barks at anything that's not a human. Squirrels--bark, birds-bark...you get the drift. He says "no no no, me, more, mom, dad, dog, choo choo, juice, shoes, and more that I can't remember.

Luca says things like "yeah, he's a pretty cool guy" and many other expressions that leave me in disbelief that it actually came from the mouth of my first born! Most are really funny, and ironically appropriate....although boys will be boys and I'll leave those conversations out of here!

We have our house back on the market and have had 2 showings in the past week. Another reason I also have significantly less time --- I have to keep my house clean! Who knew this was so much work? Oh good grief! I do admit though that I enjoy it so much more than the typical tornado that is Maria's house. Lars and I are working on keeping it like this and not spending the 2 days before a showing cleaning la casa.

We anxiously await the day we arrive in Northern Ireland. It seems far away, but closer than it did over the winter. We have been praying for the house to sell quickly and the move to go quickly as well. Like a band-aid, sometimes you need to go slowly & cautiously and other times you need to rip! I am afraid that we could be pulling this band-aid for years if we let ourselves!
