da na na na na inspector gadget....

The inspector and the potential buyer showed up 15 min before I was expecting them this morning...8:45 is kinda early to be early, don't ya think? Then I found out that the minimum would be is 3 hours. Hey, I am knew at this inspection thing. I hightailed it out of the house with the boys for fear that I would try to defend all the little things in my house that we had every intention of fixing....but never did....or fear that Luca and Silas would continue to just stare at the strange men with Luca saying, "who are they? What are they doing? Mommy, when is he going to buy our house so we can go to Ireland?"

We hit up the grocery (for things that don't require refrigeration), then the Minnetrista for a long walk & a snack. Then the Children's Museum with the Clarks, & then Fazolis (Luca's choice).

Finally after 4.5 hours the inspector called to tell me that he was wrapping things up.

I came home to find my closet door opened and the shelves on top thoroughly rifled through. There were also white flakes all over my clothes. Hmm looks like they found that little spot in the corner where there was water damage. The flakes all over my clothes?---those would be wall! Oh Inspector Gadget doesn't miss anything, does he?

Its out of our hands now, not that it ever really was in our hands. Hopefully soon we'll know what we must do and then let packing begin. Nothing is impossible with God.

Our experience has been that when we have an inspector he says, "Looks, great. No problems here." When our buyers have them...another story.

The Lord provides. Stay close to Him. Let His people carry some of the burden.
