Our Lives are ripening!

I know the signs. I remember them from when I was moving to Romania in 2002.

Everything gets super sweet.
Friendships are deeper (or maybe I just realized their importance).
Teaching gets more personal (or I am paying better attention).
Life feels sweet and easygoing.
I figure out where to buy half price ice cream and free range eggs and grassfed meat at a great price!
I am taking advantage of the free and accessible Vacation Bible Schools right in my town.
I have a stack of books to read, a pool (that hasn't opened yet) right across the road in my apt complex.
I never, ever, ever want to leave my life.
I can see things ripening right before my eyes:

The tension is to get comfortable here. Why would I ever leave my wonderful life? My Dad is a 5 five minute drive from here. Why would I rock the boat and move to a new country where I know nothing, can't even drive myself around and will have to completely start over?
This is what life is like here:

TIME TO GO! TIME TO RUN, FLY, WHATEVER IT MAY BE. Ripe delicious strawberries won't stay that way forever. Eat them, make jam, strawberry rhubarb pie, share them with neighbors, freeze them...Just don't leave them or you'll get this:

Like before I moved to Romania, I felt like God was blessing me with being able to leave with a good taste in my mouth. I pray that this can move can be the same.

He told them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Luke 10:2

That's so wonderful, Maria. Bittersweet, I'm sure, but wonderful insight. I'm glad you're so obviously in God's hands and under His teaching during this time!
