everday inspiration

It is easy to get inspired by women who do bold acts like Rosa Parks or are famous for their lives of service like Mother Teresa. Others for sharing their stories like Anne Frank did for all of us. I could really go on and on. But there is a lady that is inspiring me and she is inspiring a lot of very young people at our church. She is doing it for the long haul. It is easy to do something once or for a short time and sort of coast on that feeling of doing a good job. But she volunteers in the 3 out of 4 Sundays, meaning she can only go to the service once a month.

She has shown my son how to march like a soldier in God's army! She gets her whole class involved in raising awareness, money and support for our overseas missionaries. She brings in fruit from her own orchard to bless the kids with a healthy snack. I have seen her pray with tears in her eyes for the souls of these little ones. She inspires me look for moments in our everyday life to teach my boys about Jesus and also to seek God on how and where I may serve. She is just too busy to take much internet time, so I don't even have to worry about embarrassing her with this post. Just thanking God for a special lady!
