We packed and inventoried 30 boxes, sold our tables, chairs, beds, etc. Our apartment has lots of scattered junk...but the bones are getting bare. My VISA has not arrived and the hold up is from the immigration office in Copenhagen. For some reason, they have not passed on my approval to the Danish consulate in New York, (where my passport is).
We move out this weekend and will be staying at some friends' farm! They have a small apartment, so we will get some fresh, country air, and have a little space of our own.
The kids are starting to have a hard time with so many things disappearing or being packed. To poor little Silas, they are one in the same! What a great day it will be to open these boxes again at our own place in Denmark. It will be like Christmas for the boys then!
We don't have our own place in Denmark yet. Lars' parents have a few bedrooms and a bathroom in their basement, so we will be starting out there for a few weeks as we search for a place of our own.
My Dad and sister are making plans to come and visit us in March and I am thrilled! It is so helpful for me to know when we will all see each other again.
A few weeks ago our wonderful homegroup threw us a send off party. Here are a few photos of our sweet friends.
