Hello there random people that actually look at this blog!
I have been really bad about putting new things on and now there is so much that I have been avoiding it all together. I decided to do it in sort of a boring, factual manner! I'm just not feeling creative! There are a good amount of pictures though! We'd love to hear from you!

So, here is a trip summary.
2-28-07 ~
Drove to Chicago, Luca did great in the car, visited IKEA, dinner with friends, flew at 10 pm. Luca slept in my arms only in between fits of crying!
3-1-07~
Landed in Copenhagen, they had lost our car seat and stroller--fun!
We went to Lars' sister Lisbeth's house outside of Copenhagen for coffee ("Coffee" is equivalent of "tea time" for the Brits---no matter how tired or dirty you are, "coffee" must go on!) Then we drove to Esbjer
g which took between 3 hours and forever. Luca cried the last hour....the whole last hour!We then ate a big, yummy meal while many of Lars' family members watched us as if it was feeding time at the zoo!
3-2-07~
i don't remember even having that day...I think that we fed ducks with Lars' mom!

3-3-07~
Lars' (mormor's) grandma's 85th birthday party. I am with my sister in law, Betina at the party. There was a lot of food and a lot of kids. We all went on a walk--Lars , his brothers, the other wives and our kids. Luca and Jeppe (Kristian and Betina's baby fell asleep and so we left them outside with the monitor on!!)
This is Lisbeth, Lars' oldest sister and his dad, Bent.3-4-07~
Today we went to the church that Lars used to go to and saw his pas
tor. Luca and I went to the kids program and he colored while I laughed at a Danish clown singing songs. I am usually afraid of clowns, but i think that this one sensed it and stayed away from me for the most part!!!After that, we went to another party...this one for Lars' mom's 25th anniversary of working for the Danish IRS. The food was really yummy!
3-5-07 --3-9-07~
We had a lot of fun visit
ing with family and friends. This is Isabel, Martin and Hansy's oldest girl. They are a year apart and played very well together. Luca rode an Arabian horse with Amanda while we were there.
Eating crepes with Lars' sister Anne-Grethe, Ole, & their kids Benjamin, Daniel and Miriam. Luca has a blast getting to be goofy with these cousins!
Luca & Farfar became very close buddies. Farfar taught him how to fake sneeze and he has been practicing everyday since!
This is Lars' brother Jen, his wife Anne-Mette and Luca's cousins Jeanette, Henrik and Kristoffer. Many Muncie people will remember Jens from 2002.
This is Lars' youngest brother Kristian & Luca's cousin, Jeppe. They also had a lot of fun together...Luca was very gentle with him!
At the beach in a snowsuit!!!
Taking a walk downtown Esbjerg (Lars' hometown on the west coast of Denmark)3-10-07 ----3-3-13-07 I went to Spain and I think I will put those on another time. Luca and Lars had a blast together. Lars found out that Luca will eat almost anything if it is called pineapple! Who knew?

3-14-07 ----3-15-07~
We sp
ent some family time, just the three of us and went to a town nea
rby where we ate Danish hotdogs and froze our buns off. We also visited Lars' grandma again and ate real Danishes!
They are much better than our sick sweet version. You just have to try them!!! Danes have "Coffee" in the middle of the day as I mentioned earlier and if it is a special day, it wouldn't be strange to have 2, 3 or even 4 desserts! Luca thought it was his birthday since he got to eat so many sweets~3-16-07~

We took a train all of our luggage in
to Copenhagen where we switched trains and took the last one into the airport. Luca was really excited about riding on the train, but didn't understand that he had to leave Farfar & Farmor. Agnes (Lars' grandma)came to see us off as well. Goodbyes are never fun and it is even more interesting while leaving on a train. With as much stuff as we had, we had to get right on, but then we just sat & waved out the window literally for minutes! Sort of amusing! ~Our trip was full of laughter, food, family, a little stress and plenty of memories!~

I'm so glad to see that you had a good time. I'm sure you have more than enough stories to tell. I'd love to hear more about your trip sometime. By the way, how many siblings does Lars have? Thanks for sharing the pictures. - Melissa
