Leavin on a jet plane

We all handle traveling a little differently. Lars casually gets his things out and puts them in his suitcase, maybe even several days after I started packing. He then humors me by helping me look through all of the things that I have been stewing over trying to decide whether they should go or not. Oh, I drive myself nuts! I either over-pack or grossly under-pack. Really, you would think by now that I would be a pro at this, but...I am not!
And then there are Luca's things!!!! Oh man! I am not even gonna go there! I spent an embarrasing amount of time getting a carry on bag ready for him and I think that I am going to re-do it again tonight. He was so easy when he just sat there....happy or sad, he just sat there! Now, he can walk, run and even jump! I have the astronomically huge challenge of entertaining an 18 month old who has never really had to sit and be quiet through anything!
Long gone are the days when the most challenging decision of traveling was deciding which movie to watch! YEAH RIGHT!
I also remember that Lars and I would pick out a magazine each. We are both fairly frugal, by choice or default...but we would always spring for a new magazine. Lars usually had one about cars or woodworking, I usually got Real Simple or a cooking magazine.
Tomorrow I am guessing that we will each ritualistically choose our new pick and be super excited to pour over each glossy page as soon as we get on the plane!
....at least we will have two and a half weeks in Denmark to finish those magazines!

have a GREAT time. I hope you get to open your magazine on the plane. I have gotten on a plane many of times with my kids, and it is a matter of them not kicking the seat in front of you. hahahah

Lad os se nogle billeder fra jeres spændende tur til DK. Og høre mere fra jeres liv. Selv om I sikkert ikke tror det, så er jeg ofte forbi for at se, hvordan I har det. Knus og kram, Lisbeth
