This one was actually a little something for Silas, but Luca got one from Belle E Buttons that was wrapped just the same. (Honestly it took 20 minutes for the guy to wrap the two packages...not fast, but wonderful and friendly!)

He will be starting a 2 day a week preschool on Wednesday and is very excited about his new friends.
He is fairly shy and frowns when he feels awkward.
He likes the full experience. Example: we have an apple tree and i asked him to help me pick apples. he was thrilled and started asking for a basket. lars said that we didn't have one, but we could use a bag instead. the experience was immediately cheapened and he wanted no part of the apple pickin'. Fortunately...I found a basket
He loves to sing YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE and the best part of it is that he says, "HOW MUCH DO I LOVE YOU???"...melt my heart
He knows he's special and loved and wild and crazy---that's my Luca in a nutshell
