I met with the language institute yesterday and at least for the time being I will get to remain a stay at home mom! I was told that I would be in class from 8-3, and i was broken hearted to not be with the kids so much. I found out that I can do evening classes (5-7:30 2 x per week). I will also do some online course work.
This is crazy, but my entire Danish education costs 150,000 Danish Kroner which equals roughly $29,000 US Dollars. It will cost me nothing out of pocket though. (just comes out of taxes we all pay!) I left the meeting with my head sort of spinning, but it feels good to have some idea of what's next. They will contact me for a placement test and I am guessing that I will start classes in January.
