I had my first experience with the Danish socialized healthcare system. Nothing is wrong with me and NO, I am not pregnant. Just needed a refill on something.
So, I scanned my yellow card at the door when I walked in. The "yellow card" means that I count in Denmark. I have a "person number" and am in the system! Yeee haw!
I was told where to wait which was an upstairs room. I was them beckoned in the room by the doctor. You actually just go right into their office. They have their desk, computer, examining table, and all the "tools" that you find in the doctor's office.
hmmmm this guy is definately not Danish. Karim??? Hmmmm
Iraq! The American mama and the Iraqi doctor piecing the Danish language together. Go figure.
